New-fashioned and stylish room with climate control, a safe, and multi-channel television. Large bathroom and walk-in showers with good sewerage. Stunning location near the sea and nice area.

We were delighted by the peaceful and serene atmosphere at the retreat. The stunning view of the rice fields from our room and the infinity pool was absolutely breathtaking. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We also loved being able to walk through the rice fields to reach Ubud center. Despite a few minor concerns, it was an overall fantastic experience.

The staff at this retreat were absolutely incredible. Their hospitality and helpfulness were beyond compare. The room was immaculate and had a breathtaking view of the Balinese Rice Terrance. The swimming pool was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink. The location was ideal, just a short scooter ride away from Ubud Palace and Yoga Barn. The overall experience was truly mind-blowing, from the friendly staff to the stunning surroundings. I can't imagine staying anywhere else after experiencing this incredible retreat.

We loved The Kenanga, the whole setting was wonderful the staff were fantastic , we had a fabulous stay and cannot wait to return again.

The hotel rooms are a nice size and high standard with comfortable beds, a view on the Ovean plus AC.

The stunning view of the surrounding nature and the breakfast selection were great. The location in the heart of the city made it easy to explore and the complimentary shuttle was a plus.

The staff was extremely rude and unaccommodating. When we had an issue with our room and asked for a refund, they refused to help and were outright dismissive.

Fantastic view, the pool area is amazing, the staff is professional and kind. We just loved the breakfast. The hotel enviroment is relaxing, quiet and gives you a feeling of luxory.

The stunning views of the rice fields and tropical gardens create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the restaurant offers great food. The pool overlooking the rice fields is absolutely gorgeous.

Wow, the rooms at Mathis Retreat Ubud were totally my style! They had this awesome mix of modern and traditional vibes, and the private terraces overlooking the rice fields were simply breathtaking. I felt so relaxed and connected to nature during my stay. And can we talk about the bungalows? Cozy sofa beds, flat-screen TVs, and a private terrace with garden views? It was like my own little paradise.

Okay, so here's the deal. As much as I loved everything about Mathis Retreat Ubud, I have to admit that I wasn't a huge fan of the flat-screen TVs in the rooms.

We also loved the location, with several boutique resorts, tour vendors, and artist stalls just a short 15-minute walk away. Exploring the nearby town and its vibrant local life was a highlight of our stay.

My children wanted more activities specifically tailored for families.
